What Happens at the Auction?
Please check in at the welcome table upon arrival. You will receive your bid number/paddle, and have the opportunity to swipe your credit card for a fast and easy checkout process. If you have not already registered your smartphone for Mobile Bidding, you will be able to do so during the check in process. Please note: if you elect to swipe your credit card at check in or check out, the payment will not be processed until two business days after the Auction.
5:00 PM - Peruse the Silent Auction – use your phone to bid on the items that you just have to have. Each class creates a wonderful work of art for the silent auction.
The Silent Auction actually begins at 9:00 AM on Friday, Apr 22nd, 2016 but will be displayed during this event for final bids. All Silent Auction Items will be available through Mobile Bidding. The Silent Auction will be followed by dinner and the Live Auction.
7:00 PM – Call to Dinner
Hors d'oeuvres will be served starting at 5:30 PM, followed by a delicious seated Cuban dinner. Complimentary wine, beer, and soft drinks are available throughout the entire evening, and a coffee service will be provided with dessert.
7:15 PM – Live Auction starts/ Raffle Drawing for the “Park Day Wine Cellar”
Stay-After-Party: Learn to dance with our own Ramon Ramos Alayo to the music of Anthony Blea y Charanga
Festive casual…but, please bring your dancing shoes.
Location and Parking
The Fellowship Hall is located behind First Presbyterian Church on 26th Street. There is some off the street parking under the Fellowship Hall and on street parking down 26th Street. Many people have used Uber or Lift in the past for ease and convenience.
Childcare will be offered at Park Day School for children 5 years of age or older only. Childcare runs from 5 PM to 11 PM. AND It MUST be reserved in advance.
THE COST IS $15 PER CHILD FOR THE ENTIRE EVENING.
A pizza dinner is served and the staff includes personnel from our ASAP Program.
Children should be checked in and out of childcare at the annex (close to back gate on campus where ASAP is housed.)
Payment & Check Out
Our payment and check out process is easier than ever! Simply swipe your credit card when you check in for an automatic payment, or stop by the welcome table to pay for your items using a check or credit card. Volunteers will be available to assist you with all steps in the check out process. If you have a large item that you cannot bring with you immediately, or you simply wish to pick up your items at a later time, please notify a volunteer to request that the item be brought back to Park Day School for pickup. All Auction items that are returned to Park Day will be available in Cathy Shields’ office.
